What can I expect from my appointment?

A first appointment with our ophthalmologist will typically last around 45 minutes to allow for a full discussion of the case and discuss options around diagnosis and/or treatment.

Do I have to ask my vet to refer my pet or can I book with you directly?

You cannot book an appointment with us directly, but you should ask your vet to refer your pet to our ophthalmologist.

Will my pet need to have an overnight stay?

It’s very unlikely your pet would need an overnight stay, and only if it was an emergency. Usually, any eye procedure will occur in day hospital.

What should I do in the event of an emergency?

In case of emergency call 01284 771363 and one of our team will instruct you about what to do.

When do I pay for treatment?

We kindly ask that payment is made before the patient is discharged from the clinic.

What if I want to pay through my insurance?

If you require a claim where the insurance company pays us directly, please do discuss this with us prior to your appointment.
Insurance claim requests will be charged a £15 administration fee. This fee is charged only once per condition.
